Terms of Service

Last updated: October 16, 2026

The short version

Your company keeps ownership of its records. Mavik processes them to provide the service and follow authorized instructions. Protect your account, respect workspace permissions and use the service lawfully. Paid plans renew as described in the applicable order, and you may cancel future renewal. Export and deletion arrangements protect your ability to leave the service.

This summary helps you navigate the document. The provisions below and any applicable signed agreement establish the parties’ rights and responsibilities.

1. Who We Are and What These Terms Cover

Mavik (“we”, “us” or “our”) provides the website at mavikcrm.com and the hosted Mavik customer relationship management service, including company workspaces and related applications and APIs. These Terms of Service govern your access to those services.

By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms. If you act for a company or other organization, you must be authorized to accept on its behalf, and references to “you” include that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Our Privacy Policy describes personal information processing. An enterprise agreement, order or data processing agreement signed with Mavik takes precedence to the extent it specifically addresses a conflicting provision.

2. Accounts and Workspaces

The service is for business and professional use by adults aged 18 or older. Keep registration details current, maintain the confidentiality of credentials and notify us of suspected account misuse. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and authorized connections.

An organization’s administrators manage workspace settings, invitations and roles. They can change membership and access to company information. Make sure that everyone you invite has permission to use the records available to them and that your use follows your organization’s policies.

3. Your Data

You retain rights in the records, files and other content submitted to your workspace. You authorize Mavik to store, process, display and transmit that content as needed to deliver the service, provide support, maintain security and carry out authorized instructions.

You are responsible for the legality of customer data and for having the necessary rights to use it. Sharing links, integrations, exports and webhooks can disclose records to recipients you select. Do not submit information requiring protections that have not been agreed for your account.

You may export records through available tools and APIs while your subscription is active. When a subscription ends, we keep its customer data for at least 14 days and send an email warning before deleting it. During that period, you can contact us for export assistance or to reactivate the account. After that period, deletion follows the Privacy Policy, subject to any legal retention obligation.

4. Privacy, Security and Data Processing

Mavik processes customer records to provide the agreed service under the customer’s instructions. Where required, a separate data processing agreement sets out the relevant obligations. Contact us to arrange it; linking to a privacy policy does not execute that agreement.

We maintain safeguards appropriate to the service, including secure transmission and access controls. Additional security, backup or availability commitments must be expressly agreed. We provide notices of security incidents as required by law and applicable contractual obligations.

5. Connected Accounts and Integrations

You may choose to connect available third-party services, including email or calendar accounts. Review the requested permissions and the provider’s terms before authorizing a connection. You can use available disconnection controls and revoke authorization through the provider.

When a connection, API or webhook exchanges information, it does so at your direction. Availability depends on configuration and the provider. Mavik is not responsible for an independent provider’s service or its processing after an authorized transfer.

6. Fees and Billing

The applicable plan or order sets out the price, billing period, included users and any additional usage charges. Fees exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. You authorize charges for the paid service you select and must keep payment information current.

Unless the order provides otherwise, subscriptions renew for the same billing period. You may cancel renewal using available billing controls or by contacting us. Cancellation normally takes effect when the current paid period ends, and access continues through that period.

We provide at least 30 days’ notice before a price increase takes effect at renewal. If payment fails, we notify you and give an opportunity to resolve the problem before suspension. We do not suspend for an amount reasonably disputed in good faith while you cooperate to resolve it.

Fees are non-refundable except where law, an order or these terms provide otherwise. Unused prepaid service fees are refunded proportionally if we discontinue the paid service, terminate without cause or fail to remedy a material breach that entitles you to terminate.

7. Trials, Betas and Free Features

A trial’s duration and any selected paid continuation must be disclosed when offered. If you do not choose a paid option, the trial may end without a charge and the retention and export arrangements in Section 3 apply.

Features identified as pilot, beta, preview or experimental are provided for evaluation. They may change, be unavailable or be withdrawn, and may have limited support. Any production commitment must be expressly agreed.

8. Acceptable Use

You must not use Mavik to violate the law or another person’s rights, send unlawful communications, distribute harmful code, misrepresent your identity or obtain access to records or systems without authorization.

Do not disrupt the service, bypass security protections, evade account or usage limits, or conduct vulnerability testing without written permission. API clients and other authorized software must follow the same access and usage restrictions as a person using the interface.

You may not resell access to Mavik’s hosted service without agreement. This restriction does not limit rights granted by an applicable software license.

9. Intellectual Property and Feedback

Mavik and its licensors retain rights in the service, design, content and branding, excluding customer data. Using the service does not transfer ownership or authorize use of a trademark in a way that implies endorsement. Applicable software licenses remain in effect.

If you provide suggestions or feedback, you allow Mavik to use them to develop and improve its products without payment or another obligation to you. You retain ownership of the feedback; this permission does not give Mavik ownership of customer records.

10. Confidentiality

Each party must protect non-public information received from the other with reasonable care, use it only for the service relationship and disclose it only to people or providers who need it and are subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations. Customer data is confidential regardless of whether it is marked.

These obligations exclude information that becomes public without a breach, was already lawfully known, is independently developed or is received lawfully without confidentiality restrictions. A legally required disclosure must be limited to what is required, with notice to the other party where permitted.

11. Publicity

We may identify your organization as a Mavik customer using its name or logo. You can ask us to stop or remove a reference by contacting us. We request separate permission before publishing a quotation, testimonial or case study.

12. Suspension

We may restrict an account or workspace when reasonably necessary to address a security risk, serious misuse, a legal requirement or overdue undisputed fees after notice. Where practicable, we explain the reason beforehand, limit the restriction to what is necessary and restore access after the issue is resolved.

Suspension alone does not delete customer data. If you cannot use the export tools, contact us for permitted export assistance, unless a legal restriction prevents it.

13. Term and Termination

These terms apply while you use the service. You may stop using it and cancel a subscription. Either party may terminate for a material breach that remains uncorrected 30 days after written notice. Serious misuse, a legal requirement or unresolved non-payment may justify earlier termination.

If we discontinue the hosted service, we give at least 90 days’ notice and refund unused prepaid service fees. When access ends, the export, retention and deletion arrangements in Section 3 apply. Obligations intended to continue, including fees already owed, confidentiality and intellectual-property protections, survive termination.

14. Warranties and Disclaimers

We provide the agreed service with reasonable care, but do not guarantee continuous availability or error-free operation. No service-level commitment applies unless expressly agreed. Except for express commitments and protections required by law, the service is provided as available without additional implied warranties.

Mavik is an information-management tool. It does not provide investment, legal or tax advice or replace your review of records and calculations. You remain responsible for business decisions made using the service.

15. Limitation of Liability

Where permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profits, revenue or business opportunities. A party’s aggregate liability is limited to fees paid for the service during the preceding 12 months, or US$100 if you used only free services.

These limits do not reduce payment obligations, indemnification obligations, responsibility for fraud, gross negligence or intentional wrongdoing, or liability that cannot lawfully be limited. A signed agreement may establish a different allocation.

16. Indemnification

Mavik will defend a third-party claim that the hosted service, used as authorized, infringes intellectual-property rights and pay damages finally awarded or agreed in settlement. We may modify or replace the affected functionality, or end it and refund unused prepaid fees. This does not cover claims resulting from customer content, unauthorized modifications or combinations.

You will defend third-party claims arising from unlawful use, customer content or your dealings with people and businesses represented in your workspace. The party seeking defense must give prompt notice, reasonable cooperation and control of the defense. A settlement cannot impose obligations on that party without its consent.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

Before beginning formal proceedings, contact support@chaocraft.com and allow 30 days for a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute. The governing law and court jurisdiction agreed for your service are specified in the applicable order or signed agreement.

Mandatory legal rights and protections remain applicable. Either party may seek appropriate relief to protect confidential information or intellectual property where legally permitted.

18. Changes to the Service or These Terms

Mavik may develop and change features. A subscription purchases the agreed service rather than a commitment to future functionality. If a material reduction in agreed core functionality or security cannot be remedied, you may end the affected service and receive a proportional refund of unused prepaid fees.

We give at least 30 days’ notice of material changes to these terms, except when a legal requirement or a newly introduced feature requires earlier effect. If a change materially reduces your contractual rights, you may cancel before it applies and receive the applicable unused-fee refund. Continued use after a change takes effect indicates acceptance where legally permitted.

19. Miscellaneous

These terms, the Privacy Policy and applicable signed agreements and orders form the agreement for the service. A successor may assume it as part of a business transfer; other assignments require consent where applicable. The parties remain independent contractors.

Neither party is responsible for delay caused by events outside its reasonable control. You must comply with applicable export and sanctions laws. If a provision is unenforceable, it is limited as necessary and the remaining provisions continue to apply. Not enforcing a provision on one occasion is not a continuing waiver.

We may send notices electronically to your account contact. Send contractual notices and questions to support@chaocraft.com.

20. Contact Us

For questions about these terms, your account or a privacy matter, contact Mavik at support@chaocraft.com. Include the workspace or order involved so we can direct your request appropriately.
